Ultimate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined professional for a 1st Shift Temporary Quality Inspection using precision measurement role in East Hartford CT. This approximately six-month assignment is ideal for candidates with experience using precision measuring tools and interpreting measurements accurately in both metric and fractional systems. Responsibilities

• Perform precise measurements using rulers, micrometers, calipers, and vernier measuring instruments.
• Read and interpret measurements in centimeters, millimeters, and basic fractions.
• Inspect products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Record measurement data accurately and report any discrepancies in an ERP Computer System
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to maintain efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience using measuring tools such as:
  • Micrometers
  • Calipers
  • Vernier measuring instruments
  • Precision rulers
  • REad Blueprints

• Strong ability to read and interpret measurements in:
  • Centimeters
  • Millimeters
  • Basic fractions
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to stand, move, and perform job duties throughout the shift.

Important Information

Candidates will be required to complete a measurement assessment prior to hire. The assessment will evaluate proficiency in:

• Reading a ruler
• Measuring in metric units (centimeters and millimeters)
• Understanding basic fractions
• Using micrometers, calipers, and vernier measuring tools

• Duration: Approximately 6 Months
• Pay Rate: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
